Routes to Low Carbon Jobs
We will offer support to over 416 unemployed individuals (18+ years of age) in West Yorkshire to gain access to our 6 month employment program. This will provide work experience, opportunities and training in the Energy Efficiency sector.

Selby Garden Enterprise
We offer work experience for adults with physical, mental health and learning needs. With supported training where needed.
We also offer volunteering opportunities for anyone with an interest in gardening.
Any surplus goes back to the community through the charitable work of Groundwork.

Different ways of learning

Delivered with financial support from Uni Connect, our successful alternative curriculum offer provides school pupils with work experience and skills development, over a period of 6 weeks, leading to a Level NOCN 1 Horticultural qualification. Schools which have already used our provision report positive outcomes in terms of attendance, behaviour, attainment and interpersonal relationships.
Supported Internships
We are delivering a Supported Internship programme in North Yorkshire for young people who have an Education Health Care Plan, enabling them to have in depth work experience as well as gaining a range of qualifications including Maths, English and employability.
