At Veolia, we’re focused on making a real difference for the planet and its people. That’s why we’re fundraising and volunteering with Groundwork, a charity all about mobilising community action to eradicate poverty and protect the environment. We need you to get involved and help us to build better communities!
At Veolia, we’re focused on making a real difference for the planet and its people. And it’s not just our day-to-day operations across waste, water and energy industries that help us achieve this – thanks to our passionate Resourcers, supporting local communities through our charitable work is also pretty high on our agenda.
That’s why we’re working in partnership with Groundwork, a charity all about mobilising community action to eradicate poverty and protect the environment.
The Groundwork team is passionate about creating a future where every neighbourhood is vibrant and green; every community is strong and able to shape its own destiny; and no one is held back by their background or circumstances.
We will be supporting community projects local to where we live and work through an exciting series of fundraising challenges and by getting our hands dirty volunteering at the project sites themselves.
These community projects need our support more than ever before to get their services up and running for local people.

Help reconnect school children in Cambridge with nature and the outdoors after a year of disrupted education and online learning.

Help children boost their self-esteem and confidence through an innovative outdoor play programme in green spaces across Cannock.
Cardiff
Help us to get young people the support they need and give them the opportunities to build confidence and learn practical skills to get a job.

Let's give the inspirational Mud Island Community Garden an amazing 10th birthday!
Durham
Help us to give this local community the access to green space that they deserve. A place for children and families to play and connect with nature.
Falkirk and Grangemouth
Help us to give local young people the opportunity to learn new skills in woodwork to reconnect with others, gain confidence and enter employment whilst making an impact in the local community.

Help to reconnect people in communities in Hastings again through a series of events at local country parks.
Kings Cross
Support the incredible 'Westminster Wheels' project which gives young people new skills in cycle mechanics and will also provide 15 refurbished bikes to people in need through your fundraising.

Support the amazing 'Grow Speke' project, an incredible green oasis in the middle of a South-Liverpool housing estate that brings the whole community together.
Middlesbrough
Support the wonderful Green Links project that brings people with dementia and their carers together through gardening activities to build support networks, reduce loneliness and build confidence.
