At Groundwork, we believe that everyone should have access to wholesome meals made with a variety of ingredients, and even better when they’re grown yourself.

Our Grow Cook Eat programme, funded by Public Health North Northamptonshire, includes a host of events as well as a grants scheme.

Baby Rangers
Baby Rangers is a program that has been developed alongside the Infant Feeding Team. The program focuses on introducing solids to your little one, the course will run for 8 weeks and is completely free of charge. Our aim is to help parents feel confident when the time comes to start their introducing solids journey.

Positive Parenting Programme
We will be offering the Triple P Programme. We want to make these sessions as accessible as possible as we understand that every family will have their own needs. Our sessions can be in your family home or simply over the phone. We want to ensure that the program works for you so if you have any queries please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Wellies In The Woods
Wellies in the Woods is an extremely popular programme.
The sessions focus of confident building in the outdoors whilst enjoying free green space and low budget activities. Keep an eye on our Facebook ‘Groundwork Northants’ for any upcoming events.

Big Chef, Little Chef
This 8-week programme is designed for parents and their child(ren) between the ages of 6-11 years. The sessions run after school hours and offer a unique experience for you and your child. Whilst building knowledge around healthy diets we also offer budget advice and guidance.

New Grants Scheme

Our grants scheme is now live and is for food-based community projects in north Northants

Our grants funding is open for applications – all part of our Grow, Cook, Eat programme which is helping people and communities in North Northamptonshire to grow, cook and eat healthily.

Our pot of ‘Seed Funding’ is for community driven projects with a focus on growing, cooking and eating. Applicants are invited to apply for grants of up to £3,000.

Applications should be submitted by the second Friday of every month, with panel review meetings taking place on the last Thursday of every month.
