NCS YEAR OF SERVICE

Northern Directions offers an end-to-end voluntary employability and personal development package tailored to the unique and complex needs of each participant; moving them closer to employment or education.

The project supports participants 1:1 through a range of activities including specialist interventions for a range of issues relating to debt, benefits, wellbeing and housing; volunteering opportunities; Maths and English qualifications; CSCS courses and work experience placements with local employers.

This project is funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund via the North Tyne Combined Authority and is delivered until March 2025.
