Savills contacted Groundwork in September 2023 to explore if there were any opportunities to work with the charity, as when researching charities to partner with, Groundwork stood out to the Savills team as a charity that creates social value in lots of different ways.

In February 2024 we organised the first of several volunteering days for the Savills team linked to the Working Wardrobe initiative. This programme provides interview clothing and guidance to people looking to get back to work and was a concept the Savills team really connected to. Five members of the Savills Team attended an afternoon at Trafford Ecology Park where they sorted through donations checking their quality and separating into type and size. In addition, Savills Sustainability Team ran a clothes drive at their Manchester offices, sourcing additional, in-need items required for the programme to thrive.

In November 2024, Savills provided further support to Groundwork, this time taking part in an employer insights session on one of our green economy training programmes. Daisy Ash & Cait Norman, Sustainability Consultants at Savills discussed the different roles in their organisation related to the Green Economy and the steps Savills were taking on their journey to Net Zero.

Savills and Groundwork hope to build on this blossoming relationship and develop even more partnership opportunities in 2025.
