Salad wraps and rolls


If you are struggling for inspiration, below are some suggestions of fresh, healthy food combinations that taste great in sandwiches, wraps, pittas and rolls.
You can also use these combos on their own, with pasta, or jacket potatoes for instance. There is no right or wrong here, experiment, enjoy, go with what you fancy!
Look at what you have growing in your garden and use what you have, and don’t forget the herbs!
Combo 1
- Grated cheese / lettuce / sliced apple / grated carrot / cream cheese or mayo

- Sliced tomatoes / sliced mozzarella / basil leaves / drizzle of olive oil / black pepper

- Sliced avocado / sliced mozzarella / sliced pepper / pesto / rocket

- Crumbled feta cheese / chopped walnuts / thinly sliced celery / sliced grapes / mayo

- Sliced cucumber / sliced olives (any) / lettuce / chives / cottage or feta cheese
