Memorial Park, Luton

Healthy eating and spending time outdoors growing food benefits our physical and mental health, and helps establish meaningful connections between where we live and the food we eat.
At our core is an unfaltering belief in the importance of community, particularly in how community spaces are cared for and used. Nestled in Memorial Park in Luton is a hub of food growing activities where our staff work with residents to care for a garden, growing fruit and vegetables and learning about healthy eating and cooking. We also run conservation activities and arts and crafts there too as well as it being a welcoming space for people to get outdoors and socialise.
Below are some of the projects we run in Memorial Park based around food growing, nature conservation, arts and crafts and enjoying the outdoors, funded by Luton Borough Council, Luton Rising, Bedfordshire and Luton Community Foundation.
