Cinder: A bright future in horticulture

Cinder, who is 22 and originally from Dublin, applied for a New to Nature placement with Chelsea Physic Garden after moving to London with aims to combine their passions of gardening and working with people. Now working as a Horticultural and Learning Trainee, Cinder feels optimistic about the future of their career in the nature sector.

New to Nature is funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund as part of the celebrations to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and the King’s Coronation. The programme is delivered through a partnership of Groundwork, The Prince’s Trust, Disability Rights UK, Mission Diverse and the Youth Environmental Service.
