Register your interest for London Marathon 2026

By registering for an event with Groundwork, you are agreeing to the below terms and conditions.

General terms and conditions:

You commit to raising the minimum sponsorship target for the event by the agreed upon deadline upon registration, , this excludes any Gift Aid given.

You understand that your event registration fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.

You agree that you are legally obligated to send over all donations raised on behalf of Groundwork and failure to do so could lead to legal action being taken.

You agree that you are medically and physically fit and understand that you take part in this event at your own risk. Groundwork is not liable for any injury or illness related to your training or taking part in this event.

Event disclaimers:

You understand that you are responsible for sourcing your own travel and accommodation for the event.

Following instruction from Groundwork, you are responsible for registering your information with the event providers and failure to do so by the given deadline may lead to the withdrawal of your event place.

You understand that if you are unable to take part in the event that you will contact Groundwork via fundraising@groundwork.org.uk as soon as possible and your place will be withdrawn. The money already raised will be collected by Groundwork as a donation.

Data collection:

You agree that your data will be collected and stored by Groundwork in accordance with our data storage policy.

Photography and marketing disclaimer:

You give Groundwork permission to use any photos or videos taken at the event in future marketing and promotion on our website. If you would prefer not to be included in any promotional materials please contact us via fundraising@groundwork.org.uk.

You may not use Groundwork’s logo to sell products for donations.

You agree to collect the appropriate licences from local authorities when fund raising in a public space or at an event.

You understand that raising funds for Groundwork makes you a representative of Groundwork and your behaviour will be linked back to Groundwork.

You agree that donations will be collected legally, in line with the guidance given by Groundwork and you may not run any lotteries, sell alcohol, collect via door to door fund raising or be aggressive to others when collecting funds.
