Cafe Administrator

Location: The Walled Garden Cafe, Tilgate Park, Crawley, RH10 5PQ
Contract: Fixed Term until 31 March 2026
Salary: £12.60 per hour, £9,828 per annum (FTE £24,570)
Hours: 15 hours per week

The Walled Garden Café is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Cafe Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee invoicing, ordering, staff rostering, and other general administrative tasks. This role is crucial for maintaining the efficient operation of our beloved café, nestled in the picturesque surroundings of Tilgate Park.

Your duties will include managing and processing invoices, liaising with suppliers for timely and accurate deliveries, preparing staff schedules, and addressing scheduling conflicts. Additionally, you will support the Café Manager with customer enquiries and complaints, maintain accurate financial records, assist with financial reporting, supporting on health and safety and the training and onboarding of new staff members.

Your organisational skills, attention to detail, and customer-focused attitude will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and efficient café environment.
