We are delighted to announce that our Green Doctor project has won another award, this time at the SME Cambridgeshire Business Awards in the ‘Community Business of the Year’ category!

Our Green Doctor, Terence, was invited to a dinner at the SME Business Awards, where the winners were announced, and you can see his amazing reaction captured in real time below

The Green Doctors help UK residents stay warm, stay well, and save money by providing free, impartial energy advice to help residents take control of their bills and save energy at home. If you or anyone you know is looking for non judgmental, free help in any of the following areas, get in touch.

  • struggling to pay energy bills or finding it hard to manage fuel debt
  • feeling that the home is cold, damp or draughty
  • worrying about keeping warm or choosing between eating and heating
  • respiratory problems such as asthma or a persistent cough

Statistics from the NEA (National Energy Action) state that 5.6 million UK households are in fuel poverty (spending at least 10% of their income on keeping their homes warm) and more and more people are falling into debt. We are obviously thrilled to have this project recognised, and more importantly, we are glad to get the word out there however we can that there is help available.

The Green Doctor programme in Cambridgeshire is funded by Cadent Foundation and Energy Redress
