Order Your Veg Box

At Green Patch, we grow an array of fresh fruit and vegetables, and these are now available for you to purchase from us. It’s locally grown produce, fresh and ready for our local community.

Anyone can order a veg box. We take your order, put your chosen veg box together, and it will be ready for you to collect at your chosen time.

Collections are from Green Patch, any time between 10am- 3pm Monday to Friday. Please note, we’re currently not able to offer same day collection.

You can currently order a small veg box for £6.

Please note that during busy periods we will try to arrange an alternative date where possible if we can’t fit you in.

If you’d like to know more about our veg boxes, these are the questions we usually get asked. If the answer to your question isn’t here, please feel free to ask one of the team when you phone up.

How many vegetables do I get in a box?

It varies throughout the season but we aim to fill a small box with a minimum of 6 different vegetables, and a minimum of 9 different items for a large box (when available). Please note quantities are bigger in the larger box.

What types of vegetables are available and can I choose?

We grow almost all the usual vegetables you can find in your local supermarket, alongside some of the more unusual varieties that aren’t easily available. We can only offer what’s in season so choosing vegetables is difficult. However, if there’s something you don’t like, please tell us and we will aim to offer an alternative

We will also have seasonal fruit available at different times throughout summer and autumn for an additional cost.

How much notice do I need to give before my order will be ready to collect?

We ask that you give us one day’s notice to pick and prepare your veg box.

How do I pay for my veg box?

Cash or by card.

Is there another way I can order apart from texting you?

In person at the Green Patch.

Where do I go to collect my box?

Orders should be collected from The Green Patch, Valley Walk, Kettering NN16 0LU.

There may be occasions when the gates to The Green Patch are closed whilst sessions are running. If this is the case, Cliff the gardener will let you know when ordering and meet you with your box at the gate.

How often can I order a veg box?

Any time whilst stocks last.
